Job Type: 6 months extendable

Responsibilities:

•Develop comprehensive UAT test plans, strategies, and timelines in alignment with project objectives and business requirements. Define test scope, objectives, and success criteria to ensure thorough coverage of banking functionalities.

•Design, create, and maintain detailed UAT test scenarios, scripts, and test cases based on functional specifications, user stories, and business workflows. Ensure test cases cover critical banking processes, including account management, payments, transactions, and regulatory compliance.

•Execute UAT test cases according to defined test plans and acceptance criteria. Document test results, defects, and observations accurately and comprehensively. Provide timely status updates, progress reports, and risk assessments to project

stakeholders. •Identify, log, prioritize, and track defects discovered during UAT. Collaborate with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues efficiently. Conduct root cause

analysis and ensure defects are properly

documented and validated.

•Conduct regression testing to ensure that system changes, enhancements, and bug fixes do not adversely impact existing banking functionalities.

Develop regression test suites and automate repetitive test scenarios where applicable to improve efficiency and coverage.

•Work closely with business users, product owners, subject matter experts, and IT teams to clarify requirements, validate business rules, and address UAT-related concerns. Facilitate UAT review sessions, walkthroughs, and sign-off meetings to ensure alignment and consensus.

•Coordinate with infrastructure teams to set up and configure UAT environments that accurately replicate production environments. Ensure availability of test data, test accounts, and necessary tools to support UAT activities effectively.

•Share best practices, lessons learned, and domain knowledge with team members to foster continuous improvement and skill development. Mentor junior testers and contribute to building a

collaborative and high-performing testing team.

Requirements:

•Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.

•7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in User Acceptance Testing within the Banking domain. •Proficiency in creating test plans, test scenarios,

test cases, and test scripts.

•Experience with testing tools such as HP ALM,

JIRA, or similar test management tools. •Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and

communication skills.

•Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple UAT projects concurrently.

•Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) or banking domain certifications (e.g., Certified

Banking Professional) would be advantageous
