Senior Planning Engineer

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning and scheduling, with at least 10 years of experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.



Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues
- Provide regular updates on project status to project managers and senior management
- Work closely with project managers to develop and implement project plans
- Ensure that project schedules are aligned with project budgets and resource availability
- Identify and analyze schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain project controls procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Provide training and mentorship to junior planning engineers and project team members
- Continuously improve planning and scheduling processes and procedures
- Participate in project review meetings and provide input on project planning and scheduling issues



Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, with a track record of successful project delivery
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers and team members
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
