We are searching for a highly motivated Head of Accounting to join our client, a leading Oil & Gas company in Dubai. In this strategic role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial health, optimizing processes, and driving growth.
About You:
Bachelor's degree in accountancy or equivalent (CPA preferred)
Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, with strong focus on Oil & Gas
In-depth knowledge of IFRS and local UAE accounting standards
Experience with indirect tax, corporate tax, and transfer pricing is a plus
Proven ability to partner with Business and Management for strategic planning
Excellent analytical and reporting skills with a keen eye for detail
Strong leadership qualities with a focus on coaching and development
What You'll Do:
Lead and manage the entire accounting function
Oversee financial reporting, analysis, and interpretation
Ensure timely and accurate financial, regulatory, and management reporting
Manage external audits and liaise with auditors
Prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets
Streamline internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance
Collaborate with internal teams for tax filing and reporting
