Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Tax Accountant with comprehensive knowledge of UAE #corporatetaxlaws and #auditing principles to join our team. As a Sr. Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations, preparing accurate tax returns, and providing strategic tax planning to the company. Your duties will also include conducting tax audits, identifying potential tax risks and opportunities, and assisting with financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex tax concepts effectively.

Responsibilities:
1. Conducting thorough reviews of financial records to ensure compliance with UAE tax laws and regulations.
2. Preparing and filing accurate corporate tax returns in a timely manner.
3. Providing expert advice on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial performance.
4. Collaborating with internal team to gather necessary financial data for tax reporting purposes.
5. Performing tax audits to identify discrepancies or potential areas of non-compliance.

7. Staying updated on changes to UAE tax laws and regulations
8. Assisting with financial statement audits, ensuring #compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
9. Analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.


Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. CPA, ACCA, or similar professional certificate (not mandatory)
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Tax Accountant or similar role, with a focus on UAE corporate tax.
4. In-depth knowledge of UAE tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
5. Strong understanding of auditing principles and practices.
6. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
12. Oracle knowledge is an added advantage
