Health, safety and business continuity specialist
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Safety / Risk management or similar.
10 years of minimum experience in HSE & fire safety + BC & RM within (high-risk-related / Critical) working environments
At least 8 years of solid experience on OSHAD system framework (Manual, Elements, Mechanisms, COPs, …etc.) and all relevant “local, federal & international” laws, regulations, or guidance.
Solid experience with NCEMA requirements (NCEMA 7000)
Solid experience with FANR regulations
Solid experience with UAE Fire and Life safety code + NFPA fire code
Solid experience with EAD regulations & waste management requirements.
Solid experience with management of Hazardous Materials
Training & Knowledge:
Qualification in Health and Safety (NEBOSH International Certificate) with Abu Dhabi OSHAD practitioner course Certification ; NEBOSH EC would be an added advantage
Lead Auditor certified in ISO45001:2018 / 14001:2015 / 22301:2019 / 31000:2018 ; ISO9001 would be an added advantage
HAZMAT / First Aider / Fire Warden or Fire Marshal certifications
NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma in Health and Safety
Expert with investigation skills, RCA, and executive reporting
Expert with Microsoft Office applications (Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Excellent communication & presentation skills (Trainer, Auditor, Interviewer, Investigator & Assessor)
Trainer accreditation is added advantage
Experience with Microsoft Power apps is added advantage
