Position: Estimator

We are looking for an Estimator for our Aluminium and Glass Industry. The potential candidate shall have a minimum of 3 years of experience and a background working with Aluminum and Glazing companies within the UAE.

The role will be to support the project team with the following requirements:
-Analyzing plans, bills of quantities, and other project documentation in order to estimate costs.
-Excellent communication skills and written and spoken English are essential.
-Researching, sourcing, negotiating, and obtaining the best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
-Assessing the financial, technical, and operational risks of the project.
-Staying aware of the latest construction technologies in Aluminum, ACP, Curtain Wall, and UPVC Industries.
-Inputting into decisions over whether to bid for the project.
-Must be able to understand drawings & details, material finishes, and construction material requirements.
-Preparing the scope of work based on surveys carried out by engineers Must have experience in quantity take-offs and project estimation Work alongside the design team to establish project requirements Supervising surveys and interpreting third-party surveys.
-Maintaining supplier/subcontractor database and consistently seeking new companies to pre-qualify for inclusion on the tender list.
-Develops bid cost estimates for the specified deadlines for submission Excellent attention to detail and forward-thinking.
-Keeping detailed records and writing reports.
