We are looking for Quality Control Inspector

Location: Dubai
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 2 to 5 years of experience in the Steel Tube manufacturing industry, specifically with ERW mills. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of basic computer programs such as Word and Excel and possess the ability to use measuring devices like micrometers, Vernier calipers, and measuring tapes.
Responsibilities:
Conduct mechanical testing such as tensile test, flattening test, and hardness test
Record and report all inspection and testing activities, maintain records of testing and inspection
Classify non-conforming products into suitable categories such as re-works and rejections
Perform incoming hot-rolled coil inspection and final welded pipe inspection
Approve incoming materials, process production, and finished products
Read plans and specifications to understand the requirements of products
Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications
Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner
The successful candidate will also possess experience in API and other audits. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to product safety and environmental concerns while maintaining records and standards.
