• Ensure availability of Urbanise application and other technology applications as per business requirements and act as a point of escalation for technical issues and support
• Perform software development lifecycle tasks, including component analysis, design, and develop, testing and perform customizations as well as add-on components to existing software and on off-the-shelf packages to align functionality to requirements.
• Analyze user system and application needs, determine, and evaluate potential solutions, develop system specifications and requirements, and design application programs to meet the requirements.
• Produce detailed design and technical documentation as per established standards, as well as data maps and business process models as required to ensure adequate documentation that facilitates easy reference.
• Engage in peer code review and design sessions to ensure reliability, maintainability, and performance at all tiers in the application.
• Evaluate 3rd party software for integration into business support systems and portals.
• Ensure adherence of all deliverables to appropriate standards and quality levels.

• Prepare technical design options; consult with hardware and software technicians on options and strategies.
• Evaluates the impact of new technology integration, upgrades, customization etc. on resource requirements, hardware and software requirements, costs, and return on IT investments and monitors the efficiency of applications with periodic checkpoints and value measurements.

Post-Implementation Support • Assist users in day-to-day activities, data reconciliation, functional training and problem resolution to minimize the impact of application related service outage Quality and Business Improvement • Proactively analyze the current information technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and opportunities and recommend solutions for improvement. • Keep abreast of major application, technologies as well as a working knowledge of major operating systems scripting/shell languages and continually update on development tools, technology platforms and agile delivery methods. Develop new reports based on business users’ requirements
