Looking for HR Excellence Officer who will be responsible for HR Governance.
Here are some key requirements and qualifications -
HR Governance and Compliance Expertise: The candidate should have a solid understanding of HR laws, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to your industry and region. A background in HR, legal, or compliance roles with a focus on HR governance.
Analytical and Risk Management Skills: will be responsible for identifying and managing HR-related risks; and can analyze complex HR processes, spot potential compliance gaps, and implement risk management strategies.
Communication and Collaboration: A good HR Governance Officer should be an effective communicator who can work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including HR teams, legal departments, senior management, and external auditors.
Attention to Detail: Precision is crucial in ensuring HR policies and procedures align with compliance requirements. The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be able to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Proactivity and Initiative in staying up-to-date with changing HR regulations and industry best practices. They should take the initiative to implement improvements and anticipate potential compliance issues.
Ethical and Professional Conduct: can handle sensitive HR data and compliance matters with a strong sense of ethics and professionalism essential to maintain confidentiality and integrity in their role.
Experience with Audits: Experience in conducting internal HR compliance audits and collaborating with external auditors is beneficial. Familiarity with audit procedures and the ability to address audit findings is a plus.
Problem-Solving Skills: can think critically, develop innovative solutions, and make well-informed decisions will be valuable.
Change Management Skills: As HR regulations and compliance requirements evolve, the candidate should be adept at managing change within the organization and adapting HR practices accordingly.
Education and Certification: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field is typically required.
Professional certifications in HR or compliance (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRCI, Compliance Certification) can also be valuable.
Industry Experience- Banking Industry experience is desirable.
