We are looking for a Commercial Manager, for our growing team at our metal division(PMI). The primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the commercial aspects of our Aluminum Façade projects in UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

· Responsible for Contract Management and Administration. Review contract documents including but not limited to the scope of work, conditions of contract, bonds and guarantees to identify potential risks.

· Renegotiate any unfavorable terms and conditions with clients and put in place risk management mechanisms. Prepare all contractual matters, claims, variations and various related correspondence.

· Manage all areas under Commercial function, issues and problems and execute appropriate technical/non-technical solutions.

· Oversee the claims management procedure which entails submission of timely notices, interim & detail particulars for EOT claims and Prolongation cost claims.

· Provide leadership and guidance to the quantity surveying team in the procurement of subcontract packages, administering variation management, cost control procedures and contract administration.

· Process Improvement & Management Systems: Continuously look for opportunities for improvement.
o Identify, analyse and improve existing business processes and procedures to optimize performance, meet best practice standards and enhance workflows involved, improve quality, remove inefficiencies and ultimately improve the productivity.

· Team Management & Development: Lead & manage the team effectively to ensure the most efficient use of human resources thus achieving departmental and organizational goals and objectives.

· Perform any other duties and responsibilities as designated by Group Director of Contracts.

Requirements:
-Strong Educational background – HNC or Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent from a reputable establishment
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in Metal Fabrication/Aluminium/Stainless Steel Industry.
- Minimum 8ys experience as Commercial Manager- Metal
- Should have worked as Estimator/Quantity surveyor in Metal Fabrication
