Job Vacancy : Accounting Manager

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team.

Role Description:
Develop and implement accounting policies for accuracy and timeliness and deadlines.
Review ledger entries, ensure compliance, and control on chart of accounts.
Manage monthly closing, trial balance review, and journal vouchers.
Review balance sheets and journal vouchers for expenses, Prepayments, and provisions.
Maintain the accounting system, assist staff, and generate reports.
Prepare monthly management accounts and reports packs.
Create and present annual budgets, aligning with organizational goals.
Review VAT ledger reconciliations and prepare VAT returns.
Prepare annual financial statements following IFRS.
Develop cost sheets, pricing, and recommendations.
Analyse CAPEX using cash flow techniques, make recommendations for the projects.
Manage cashflow, factoring, and discounting in collaboration with banks.
Assist with bank queries and information requests.
Liaise with departments and resolve Oracle-related issues.
Coordinate annual audit schedules and external auditors.
Support training and management of accounting staff.
Prepare ad-hoc reports and fulfil additional duties as assigned by GM and CFO.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance.
Qualified and holds a CMA, CA, CPA, or ACCA degree.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting management in manufacturing organization.
Fluency in English & Arabic is essential.
