Job Position: Regulatory Advisory & Ethical Conduct Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose:
The Regulatory Advisory & Ethical Conduct Manager is responsible for supporting Head of Regulatory
Affairs in compliance advisory services, overseeing support for all Business, Control, and Enablement
Functions.

Job description:
-Strategic Contribution
• Ensure effective implementation of the Group’s
Compliance strategy within the team’s remit to
ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration
with other interfacing departmental strategies.

-Ethical Policies Framework and Advisory
• Ensure the day-to-day management of the ethical
policies framework.

-People Management:
• Support the Compliance Governance Department,
including acting as an SME in developing and
delivering ethical conduct related training and
conducting knowledge sharing sessions.

-Policies and Processes
• Ensure Group Ethical Conduct policies and
procedures remain updated, relevant, and
communicated to all stakeholders.

-Regulatory Advisory
• Ensure the management of the Regulatory Guidance
channel by providing the necessary documents
review/approval and clarification inquiries from the
Business and Control and enablement units
• Provide advice to the Business units with technical
insights into the matters involving compliance with
regulatory requirement on Retail, Corporate and
Wholesale banking

Skills & experiences required:
• Master’s Degree in Science, Finance, Business, or a
related subject.
• 8+ years of regulatory compliance experience, which
includes 2+ years of experience managing ethical
conduct framework.
• Exemplary knowledge of the UAE regulatory
environment, regulatory structures, market contacts,
market practice, and industry groups.
• Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of new
regulations and rules and their impact on the Group
business.
• Strong track record in dealing and managing
regulators and other stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to
communicate with impact, build healthy professional
connections, influence outcomes, simplify complex
topics into actionable recommendations for decision-
making.
• Ability to perform innovative thinking to solve
complex problems with no established precedence
while balancing risk, speed, accuracy, and
embracing pace over perfection.
