Procurement Manager for a renowned client having minimum of 6 years of similar designation with UAE experience and 6 years in Facility Management industry experience in UAE, Salary range - 20000-25000. Interested candidate can send in their resume to [email protected]

Brief JD: Sourcing and purchasing goods and services for the company according to its available budget for each department.. Close control of purchasing budgets, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring delivery schedules are met and preparing on-going reports for company executives are all part of the job. Planning, organizing, financial, budgeting and decision-making skills are all essential requirements, as are leadership and communications abilities. Strong market awareness, attention to detail and problem-solving are also necessary attributes • Manage all office service contracts to ensure compliance and value for money. Regularly review existing contracts to ascertain if better arrangements exist within the market place • Compiles data from a wide variety of sources (vendors, staff, client and management) for the purpose of analyzing issues, ensuring compliance with a wide variety of purchasing policies and procedures, and/or monitoring purchasing processes • Oversees required purchasing processes (orders, work orders and requisitions for supplies, equipment, Company requests, bids for potential commodities, supplies equipment and services) for the purpose of acquiring necessary resources to support district operation • Researches contracts, suppliers, equipment and services, including evaluation of new products for the purpose of analyzing information to determine product and/or service need and availability as required • Responds to inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources for the purpose of providing information, direction and/or appropriate referrals • Supervises assigned staff (employee concerns/problems, directing work, training, disciplining, performance appraisals) for the purpose of ensuring work assignments are complete and within department objectives

Approve bid proposals and specifications; compose Requests, and present recommendations on purchases requiring management approval  Evaluate overall revisions, price and past performance of each contract  Establish priorities, assign workloads and review the more difficult and complex assignments  Interpret contract provisions and review contracts for accuracy and changes prior to bid and renewal  Provide liaison between vendors, contractors  Find the best savings leverage by consolidating needs to few sustainable buyers  Implement core quality principals in the department’s processes & procedures  Chair the evaluation committee meeting as well as vendor interviews
