Are you a security specialist passionate about safeguarding networks?
We're seeking a talented Network and Security Specialist to join our team in Abu Dhabi! In this role, you'll play a vital role in protecting our organization's network infrastructure by monitoring activity, implementing security measures, and collaborating with IT teams.
About the Role:
Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities.
Implement and maintain intrusion prevention systems (IPS) and other security measures.
Manage and optimize communication links, including internet connections, WAN, LAN, and VPNs.
Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
Collaborate with IT teams on network security solutions and configurations.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network and security-related issues.
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in network security technologies.
You're a great fit if you have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 8 years of experience in network administration and cybersecurity.
Solid understanding of intrusion prevention techniques and technologies.
Proficiency in network protocols, routing, and switching.
Experience with firewall administration and configuration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Relevant certifications (CISSP, CCNA Security, CompTIA Security+ preferred).
