Salary Range: AED 7,000 - 9,000 per month

We are urgently seeking experienced Senior Accountants with 6-7 years of proven expertise in the UAE. The ideal candidates will possess comprehensive knowledge of UAE taxation, VAT regulations, audit control procedures, financial reporting standards, and corporate tax requirements.

NB: Candidates with experience from audit firms are preferred for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with UAE taxation laws, including VAT, and maintain accurate records for reporting purposes.
- Coordinate and oversee the audit process, liaising with external auditors to ensure timely completion and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Conduct periodic reviews of internal controls and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
- Stay updated on relevant regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure compliance and optimize financial performance.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 6-7 years of progressive experience in accounting roles, preferably in the UAE.
- In-depth understanding of UAE taxation, VAT regulations, audit controls, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
