We are looking for a Commis Chef to join our fast-growing restaurant in Shariah, UAE

Ideal candidate would have worked for 1-2 years as a Commis Chef and has attitude to learn and grow within a growing brand.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: We are looking for Commis Chef with hot kitchen experience.

 Responsible for the daily food preparation and duties assigned to meet the set standard and qualities
 Support the Demi Chef de Partie in the daily operation and work
 Work according to the menu specifications by the Head Chef
 Keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions according to the rules set control food stock and food cost in his section
 Prepare the daily mis-en-place and food production
 Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate Superiors to complete the daily tasks
 Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques
Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control
Monitors kitchen equipment and reports issues to superiors
Continually develops culinary knowledge to produce high-quality meals
Measures, mixes, and prepares meal ingredients, sauces, and seasonings
Washes, chops, and cuts fruit, meat, and vegetable items
Assesses inventory and requests resupply when necessary
Plates meal items under the Demi chef de partie’s supervision
Disposes of spoiled items and adheres to sanitation policies
The chef must know how to prepare all the Snack items.

To land a job as a Commis Chef you will need:

High school diploma or equivalent; higher certification in culinary arts preferred
1-2 years of work experience in a similar role
Good understanding of food, health, and safety regulations
Able to work holidays and weekends
Understandable level of English,Hindi
