Looking for Procurement officer (O&G) to be based in Abu Dhabi.

Position Title : Procurement Officer
Work Location : Sheik Khalifa Energy Complex
Salary : AED 12,000/- all inclusive ( maximum can offer )

Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or equivalent
6+ years’ more experience, preferably in the O&G industry
Preferred to have Certification CIPS
With knowledgeable in SAP Ariba System

Job Function
Recommends Technical Evaluation criteria and identify the relevant and registered bidders deciding whether to the draw names from the registered consultants and contractors or to carry out a further prequalification exercise.
Controls the prequalification of bodes (if required) ensuring proper coordination with User Div/Dept, proper registration, relevant experience, correct capability and willingness of contractors etc.
Review User tendering process requirements such as Scope /BOQ/ Spec., Contract duration, award strategy, type of contracts (EPC Consultancy etc) and method of compensation (lump sum, unit rates cost plus etc)
Ensures the finalization and apply Due Diligence check on the technical evaluation prior to deciding to open the Commercial bids of the technically acceptable bidders
Control the techno-commercial evaluation of bids from financial, contractual and technical points of view, and evaluates the winner among the bidders. Prepare and obtain approval of the Award Recommendation Report.
Interpret contractual obligations. Liase with Finance Division, Internal Audit and Legal on matters relation to such contracts.
· Review claim, evaluates them in the light of contractual obligation and advise on appropriate steps
