Head of Finance & Accounting:

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Head of Finance and Accounting. The ideal candidate must be a team player and should possess very strong interpersonal and communication skills, extensive experience with Odoo Finance, or a similar ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Execute the day-to-day book keeping & operations of the accounting department.

Accounting Responsibilities:
General Ledger Management:
Book keeping & overseeing the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Draft, implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
Accounts Payable/Receivable:
Manage and optimize the accounts payable and receivable processes.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Provide insights and variance analysis to support decision-making.
Tax Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations.
Collaborate with external tax advisors for accurate and timely tax filings.
Finance Responsibilities:
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities.
Work closely with department heads to develop realistic and strategic financial plans.
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor and manage cash flow to support operational needs and financial obligations.
Implement strategies to optimize working capital.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
ERP System Expertise:
Strong experience as an Odoo Finance & Accounting user. This involves deep understanding of functionality and reporting of Odoo or similar ERP system.

Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or relevant professional certification preferred.
Minimum of [6-8] years of experience in finance and accounting roles in a hands on delivery role.
UAE Driving license and ownership of a car in UAE
UAE Residency / Work visa preferred.
