URGENT HIRING: Safety Officer
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and procedures.
Investigate safety incidents and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
Provide safety training and inductions to employees.
Maintain accurate safety documentation and records.
Stay up-to-date on relevant safety regulations and legislation.
Collaborate with management and employees to continuously improve safety performance.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety officer role or related field.
Diploma or certificate in Health and Safety (OHS) or a related field (preferred).
Strong understanding of safety principles and best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
