We are actively searching for Purchasing Manager to join our team in Dubai-UAE with the following major tasks and responsibilities:
-Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
-Seek reliable vendors or suppliers to provide quality goods at reasonable prices, both locally & internationally
-Manage supplier relations and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
-Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
-Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
-Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
-Assess, manage and mitigate risks
-Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
-Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
The major requirements for the suitable candidate are:
· 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar position
· Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
· Strong critical negotiation and networking skills
· Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
· Solid judgment along with decision making skills
· Strong communication and leadership capabilities
