URGENTLY REQUIRED PLANNING ENGINEER RESIDES IN UAE

The Planning Engineer will overall evaluate and control the assigned project schedules and perform schedule development, maintenance and monitoring of the planning/scheduling activities with minimal or no supervisory oversight. Manage various schedules to ensure that work is completed as scheduled and to identify schedule-associated cost trends for management attention and action.

To prepare the project budget & calculation of detailed man-hours, machine hours.
To prepare of project cash flow
Identify and track changes to the project scope ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact are given visibility to the Client.
Develop overall project procurement strategy, sequencing, phasing and logistics
Review claims for extension of time and calculate additional cost for delayed events
Utilize Schedule Analyzer and other schedule analysis tools to integrate the Contractor’s schedule and forecasts
Develop Design, Construction and Operator schedules. Estimate time element of change of orders and incorporate within the schedules. Evaluate claims and make recommendations.
Monitor and report the actual progress of the work versus the planned work. Monitor actual production rates and compare with plan.
Define milestones for inclusion in Request for Proposals and tender documents through detailed discussions with the Program Management Teams, define interfaces between buildings/Infrastructure and Construction/Operations
Preparing pre-construction and construction phase master and detailed schedules. And participate in contract administration.
To review & comment the baseline program submitted by main contractor, then to coordinate with client for further comments and remarks.
Update the baseline program from consultant side on daily basis and report to the Resident Engineer and client for any delays or potential delays.
Advise and assist contractors in the development of their schedules
Prepare weekly & monthly progress reports texts and schedule summaries/look-ahead.
Update the cash flow and activity weight charts on weekly basis.
Monitoring the manpower & Resources on daily basis and to report any deficiency to the Resident Engineer and Client.
Prepare the Window delay analysis on weekly basis/ or monthly basis as per project and client requirements.
Prepare the Monthly risk assessment and to report the same to the resident engineer and client.
Prepare weekly progress & Engineering works update to be discussed during progress meetings
Review and preparing response for the main contractor's update of the baseline program, cash flow, activity weight charts and to report for any discrepancies and issues.
Review and preparing response for the main contractor's weekly and monthly progress reports.
Review and preparing response for the contractor's submitted window delay analysis
Advanced user of Primavera.
Must possess knowledge about FIDIC conditions.
