Company Description: Emirates Wet Wipes is the largest wet wipes manufacturer in the GCC, specializing in tissues and hygiene products. Our wet wipes range includes Mother & Baby, Anti-Bacterial, Personal Care, Stain Remover, Sanitizing & Disinfectant products.

Role Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team. The Procurement Officer will play a critical role in sourcing, purchasing, and managing materials and supplies necessary for our fitout and joinery projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
· Source and purchase raw materials, equipment, and supplies required for fitout and joinery projects.
· Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and vendors, and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and quality of products.
· Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery of materials.
· Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to determine project requirements and develop procurement strategies to meet project timelines and budgetary constraints.
· Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and payments.
· Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, and vendors, and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the procurement process.
· Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in procurement to inform decision-making and strategy development.

Qualifications and Skills:

· ·Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
· Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the packaging and raw materials or manufacturing industry.
· Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
