VACANCY - Civil Procurement Engineer (Substation Experience)

Project Type: Electrical Substations, Power & Desalination Plants, Metal Industry, Infrastructure (Roads/Tunnels/Bridges/Airports/Seaports), Oil & Gas, Electro-Mechanical, Water Transmission Schemes, and Sewage Treatment Plants, Renewable Energy sectors across the GCC and African region.

Functional Area: Electrical, Mechanical & Instrumentation Engineering & Construction
Location of Job: UAE

Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning, Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, and Negotiations to maintain budget-friendly prices, effective Resource Management & Inventory tracking, Supply Chain Management, Contracts Management, and Materials Management.
Procuring materials (local & imported) through inquiries, preparation of comparative statements, and issuing POs/WOs to vendors.
Managing Cat-B items, P&M, Admin, Civil, Manpower, Miscellaneous Purchases, etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Office & SAP systems.
Issuing Purchase Agreements and Sub-contract Agreements.
Updating records in the SAP system daily.
Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, health & environmental procedures to maintain a healthy and safe environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
5-10 years of experience, with at least 3 years in similar roles within the UAE.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
Excellent communication skills, preferably in English/Arabic.
Immediate availability is preferred.
