About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Accountant to join our growing team at a leading distribution company based in the Dubai UAE. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of accounting experience, ideally within the distribution industry, who can contribute to the day-to-day financial operations and help ensure the smooth functioning of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, trial balances, and financial statements.

- Assist in accounts payable and receivable management, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.

- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts regularly.

- Monitor and track expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and budgetary guidelines.

- Process and record financial transactions related to inventory, procurement, and sales.

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

- Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.

- Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors.

- Generate financial reports and assist in analyzing company financial performance.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably within a distribution company.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE financial regulations (including VAT). - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks,

- Excellent Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Tally, or similar).

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple

tasks simultaneously.

- Good communication skills in English.
