Hiring: Senior Accountant in Dubai

A friend is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in Dubai.

Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Monitor aging reports, follow up on outstanding receivables, and resolve vendor and customer disputes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet.
- Ensure accurate general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare and post month-end and quarter-end journal entries.
- Handle bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure timely month-end and quarter-end closing.
- Maintain compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and company policies.
- Work with SAP for financial reporting and transactions.

Experience: 4+ years
