One of our clients a modern fleet of highly versatile self-propelled lift boats across International Markets in Marine Industry is hiring for an IT Manager in UAE.

Job Location: Abu Dhabi

Requirement:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an IT management/supervisor role.
• Experience in maintaining and managing high end server operating systems, cloud systems, databases and email solutions.
• Experienced in maintaining networks onshore and offshore is a must.
• Expertise in Azure and Office 365 is a must.
• Experience with different VSAT technologies is preferred.
• Experience with Cybersecurity and EDR solutions is a must.
• Experience with Barracuda WAAS and Sentinel is a must


Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and control the IT budget.
2. Oversee the proper functioning of all company IT systems onshore and offshore.
3. Work to continuously improve IT systems operability across the organization.
4. Manage cybersecurity risks across the company IT systems onshore and offshore
5. Ensure all IT infrastructure, software and hardware, is managed to prevent obsolescence.
6. Oversee the management of an IT technical fault remedial service.
7. Oversee the proper functioning of all company ERP systems.
8. Oversee the management of key company IT systems such as but not limited to: o Azure
DPM/MABS/VEEAM backups and restores
Offshore VSAT Networks
Cybersecurity and EDR solutions
Avaya PBX
Barracuda WAAS and Sentinel
9. Liaise with Auditors, IT vendors and clients as required for the provision of IT services.
