Senior Accountant - Sultanate of Oman

Tristar Engineering & Construction is expanding its finance team and seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support our ongoing projects in the Sultanate of Oman.

The selected candidate will be responsible for full-cycle financial management and reporting in Oman, ensuring full compliance with company policies, international accounting standards, and Omani financial regulations.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Oversee general ledger maintenance and perform regular reconciliations.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation and related reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable collections and vendor reconciliations.
• Review vendor statements, resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare and file VAT returns and corporate tax computations in compliance with Sultanate of Oman regulations.
• Ensure adherence to internal control procedures and recommend process improvements.

📌 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5–10 years of professional accounting/tax experience.
• Proven expertise in VAT, Corporate Tax and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to coordinate with auditors, consultants and regulatory authorities.
