We are hiring Senior Accountant for a leading Sports & Fitness club In Dubai, UAE:
Position: Senior Accountant – Sports Industry
Experience: 6–7 years
Industry Preference: Sports clubs / Gyms / Fitness chains
Location: UAE
Reporting to: Finance Manager / GM
Key Responsibilities:
Handle full set of accounts (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets)
Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS & variance analysis
Manage revenue accounting (memberships, PT packages, court rentals, events)
Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations & petty cash
Ensure VAT compliance (returns, audits, documentation)
Coordinate with auditors for internal & external audits
Payroll accounting, accruals & provisions
Ensure compliance with UAE accounting & tax regulations
Support budgeting & forecasting for multiple branches (if applicable)
Mandatory Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance
6–7 years UAE experience, preferably in sports / fitness / hospitality
Strong knowledge of VAT in UAE
Hands-on experience with accounting software
(Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho, Odoo – any)
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to work independently & meet deadlines
Preferred
Experience handling multiple revenue streams
Experience in club membership systems
CMA / ACCA (partially or fully qualified) – added advantage
Immediate or short notice period
