Junior Accountant cum Data Entry Operator

AMSA Healthcare is looking for a Junior Accountant cum Data Entry Operator to join our Accounts team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles, data entry, and financial documentation.
Accounting Responsibilities
1. Assist in recording daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
2. Prepare and maintain sales, purchase, and payment vouchers.
3. Process invoices, receipts, and petty cash transactions.
4. Assist with bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
5. Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
6. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
7.Prepare basic financial reports and schedules as required.
8. Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
9. Assist in payroll data preparation and reconciliation when required.
10. Support internal and external audit processes by providing the required documents.
11. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
Data Entry Responsibilities
1. Enter financial and administrative data accurately into accounting software and spreadsheets.
2. Verify data for completeness and accuracy before processing.
3. Update supplier, and customer records in the system.
4. Maintain electronic and physical records in an organized manner.
5. Generate reports from the accounting system as requested.
6. Correct data discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
7. Ensure timely updating of databases and financial records.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or commerce

• Practical experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and reconciliations

• Knowledge of accounting software (Tally Prime preferred)

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word

• Experience in the UAE accounting environment is an advantage

• Languages: English & Hindi
