HIRING | Procurement Officer | Abu Dhabi

Looking for an experienced PROCUREMENT PROFESSIONAL, not a general Administrator.
The successful candidate must currently be based in the UAE, preferably Dubai or Abu Dhabi, and have proven hands-on procurement experience within one of the following industries:

• Fit-out / interior design
• Construction
• Manufacturing
• Engineering
• Furniture manufacturing
• Fabrication / workshops
• Architecture / model making / prototyping
• Creative production
• Makerspaces / FabLabs
• Technical or educational workshop environments
You must have experience actually sourcing and purchasing technical materials, equipment, tools and consumables, dealing with suppliers, obtaining quotations, comparing prices, raising purchase orders and coordinating deliveries.
Relevant procurement experience could include sourcing:
• Timber, wood and woodworking materials
• Metals, acrylics and plastics
• 3D printers and 3D printing materials
• Workshop machinery and tools
• Fabrication equipment
• Paints, adhesives and specialist materials
• Art, craft and creative materials
• Furniture and custom fabrication
• Technical equipment and workshop supplies
This is NOT a general Administrative Assistant role. Candidates without professional procurement/purchasing experience will not be considered.
Minimum 3 years' relevant procurement experience required.
