Qualification and Experience

B.Sc in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials science or Chemical Engineering as minimum
NACE certification of Corrosion is a plus.
Minimum 10 years’ experience of corrosion works in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities
Prepare corrosion loops for the selected plant area
Assign Condition Monitoring Locations for selected plant area on inspection isometrics
Gather and analysis JV areas heat exchangers tube bundle inspection data
Perform statistical analysis of inspection data to assess the maximum pit depth/corrosion rate that would lead to loss of containment.
Recommend improvement on Heat Exchangers on stream inspection program
Recommend inspection strategies in co-ordination with RBI engineer.
Participate in fitness for service activities to simulate external and internal pressure in relation to corrosion pattern of tube bundles.
Advise on the possibility of bundle life extension.
Assess the effect of future leakage on downstream equipment in relation to corrosion.
