We at ECC Group are looking for a Tender Submission Engineer(technical engineer) to join our tendering team.

Successful Candidates will have a minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience years post graduate experience (Engineering) and a background of tendering through the Gulf region.

Note: Immediately available candidates will take preference for this position

The profile required for this position is as follows:
- Must have Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent .
- Min 5 years of building construction experience on projects above 100M AED.(On site, ideally at the site technical office, worked in project methodology submission and method statements)
- Have a construction projects tender submission experience in tender department, in UAE
- Knowledge in Planning, QS & Project standards Classifications
- Understanding of logistics and Construction sequencing, structure, cranage, formwork systems
- Proper writing and speaking English
- Quality for clean presentation, proficient use of word, excel, power point, AutoCAD, In-design, Naviswork, Sketchup (But can be trained internally to Indesign and Sketchup if needed)
- Understanding of the key items of construction contracts
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

The responsibilities are:
- Read and understand the Instructions to tenderer, the drawings, specs, geotechnical report, BOQ.
- Prepare the tender submission check list and the supporting requirements from other departments (Planning, BIM & Engineering, Estimation, HSE, QAQC)
- Meet with subcontractors / suppliers for special projects when special technics are required.
- Prepare the construction methodology: Cranage, logistics, zoning, formwork and its rotation, sequence of works
- Guide the draftsman for the site installation and logistics plans, zoning plan, 3D construction sequence…
- Review the planning in accordance with the proposed methodology
- Preparation of the write up: Methodology, Organization chart, key personnel, logistics, Stakeholder management plan, Design management plan + any other of the tender deliverables.
- Ensure the Estimation department prices the works according to the proposed methodology.
- Identify major technical risks of the project
