Senior Accountant

A Fortune 500 company is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant for their Dubai office.

Job Responsibilities
-Coordinate with the finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
-Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
-Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
-Support month-end and year-end close processes.
-Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
-Make sure all daily transactions are correctly reflected in the trial balance.
-Perform monthly GL reconciliations / perform inter-co reconciliations.
-Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management.
-Generate financial reports and statements to Managers for review.
-Liaise with accountants from related parties and perform inter-co reconciliations.
-Processes payments, invoices, and vouchers in accordance with standard policies & guidelines; checking for completeness and obvious errors.
