NEW JOB - We're HIRING! Principle Electrical Engineer, Dubai, UAE:- Our clients who are a leading Energy/Process Electrification Practice are looking to hire a highly competent Principle Electrical Engineer. The main purpose of the role is to establish & grow the clients Electric Electrification Consulting Services business in the region.

They are looking for a Process Domain Expert to join their consulting team in EMEA. The preferred candidate will have demonstrated experience within the heavy industry (Oil and Gas, Mining, Mineral or Metal) process knowledge. The process to electrify will be mainly heating (as furnaces, steam boilers or gas-fired heaters) and motion/machine drive (powering equipment initially driven by GTG or diesel engines with electrical motors). You will join a passionate and highly motivated team of experts helping our clients in the electrification of their processes.

Main responsibilities In this position, you will work hand in hand with the consulting team, and you will be partnering with an extended team of domain experts. Ability to understand the process constraints and articulate the specific requirement for electrification is key for formulating the need and developing the overall electrification solution.

In the job, you will: - Work closely with the clients to analyze the as is process, define their needs and the different possibility to decrease the carbon footprint - Prioritize the energy sources which can be electrified and rank them to match customer need - Assist customers within the feasibility study and design of alternative process architecture after electrification - Play an active role in project kick-offs, developer interviews, and management approval meetings by preparing supporting documentation for the team in charge of delivering the solution. - Propose a revised operation philosophy of the electrified model - Rank the advantages and disadvantages of the possible upgraded solutions You will have to show functional leadership in the organization. Working with flexibility and agility are needed for success, as well as smooth communication & business acumen approach.

Qualifications
• Engineering degree: Master of science is a plus
• English fluency is a must / another language would be appreciated • Minimum 10 years of experience in electro-intensive industry with continuous firing process and/or control system as a project process leader of project mechanical leader, ideally in both tendering and execution. Knowledge of modeling process tools will be a plus.
• Knowledge on boilers, furnaces technologies applied to the industry will be highly appreciated, as well as a previous experience in an international EPC (Engineering Procurement & Construction) company, in a position of process design leader
