The ideal candidate should have experience with a leading Supermarket/Hypermarkets/Co-Ops company in UAE with established vendor contacts ” his duties will include, but not limited to the following:-
– Developing and proposing exciting, relevant & evolving themes & products.
– Follow market trends to refresh, maintain & increase customer interest and engagement with the product range.
– Identify, assess & monitor additional
information/data which could be used in decision making.
– Building a comprehensive database, prices as per the required company budget.
– Plan, prepare and carry out BDA negotiations.
– Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
– Manage, develop and motivate a group of buyers and purchase officers. Skills & Qualifications.
– Effective leadership, motivation and people management
– Ability to plan ahead to meet deadlines with a high level of personal organization.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
– Knowledge in various categories in the supermarket (fresh food, food and none foods).
Experience:
– Supermarket: 5 years (Required)
– category management: 5 years (Preferred)
