About the Position

Bon Education is seeking a full-time bilingual STEM Education Program Manager to join our team in April 2021. The position will report directly to the CEO and Creative Director of Bon Education. This is a 1-year contract with a strong likelihood of a renewed contract should the selected applicant be a strong fit with our team. Candidate must speak, write and read Arabic and English fluently. Candidates must be excited about STEM, design and innovation.

Location
This role is UAE-based (Dubai or Abu Dhabi). Work will be conducted virtually from home or on client site.

Responsibilities
STEM Program Planning, Creation and Coordination:
Develop strong collaborative relationships with Bon Education team, clients and other key program stakeholders.
Research and plan STEM programs for youth and young adults in line with client needs.
Support Bon Education leadership team in managing contractors (content writers, translators, designers) to ensure that all work is completed on time and to the highest standards of quality.
Manage all program online portals, websites and virtual workshops to ensure that all online elements of programs support English and Arabic-speaking learners.

Program Implementation:
Help the Bon Education team manage program implementation (in-person, hybrid and online) to ensure that all program stakeholders and elements come together per program plan and to achieve program goals.
Attend all program events (virtual and in-person) to ensure the highest quality of implementation and to troubleshoot when needed.
Meet regularly with Bon Education team, clients and other key program stakeholders throughout implementation period to share program progress, successes and to recommend improvements.

Reporting:
Work with Bon Education team, clients and other key program stakeholders to collect data reflecting program impact and feedback.

New Program Rollout:
Work closely with Bon Education leadership team to develop, pilot, test and launch new Bon Education learning and development programs for youth.

General Support:
Support Bon Education team across a variety of projects and initiatives as needed.

Desired Qualifications

Strong interest in STEM, creativity and design.
Demonstrated track record of working on education and youth programming or projects.
Extremely detail oriented and type-A. Loves to work, especially virtually!
Ability to work quickly under tight deadlines.
Experience in a client-facing or account management role ideal.
Flexibility to take calls with other time zones. We are a global team. Therefore, you need to love working independently, as well as collaboratively via virtual teamwork applications - Google Drive, Dropbox, Office 365, Zoom, Miro, etc.

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

At least four years of relevant work experience (e.g. program management, teaching, or account management)
Should have a Bachelor’s degree.
Bilingual. Must speak, read and write Arabic and English very well.

Compensation

10,000 - 15,000AED/month commensurate with experience.
