The hiring company is one of the well-known financial institutions in the UAE.

Salary: up to 40K AED, all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications

Job Role:

Manages the selection of new IT solutions as well as technology partners that could meet the anticipated telecommunications needs of consumers

Ensures performance of IT/Technology vendors is within the stipulated SLAs and maintenance of cordial relations to manage deployments

Manages relationships with external knowledge providers/consultants, so as to monitor technological trends, and advise IT Management on technological issues and trends

Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensures effective application of the WSE performance management process.

Directs planning and selection of manpower in the Department, in line with the business and operational plans

Construct technology-enabled operating models, and provide viable options and visibility into execution issues

Demonstrate the business value of EA as an enabler of strategy formulation, and as support for technology innovation, which drives the organisation's top and bottom lines

Lead the analysis of business and operating models, market trends and the technology industry to determine their potential impact on the enterprise's business strategy, direction and architecture

Track and apply innovative and existing technologies, anchoring them in the business model to assess their potential, and use rapid prototyping approaches to evolve innovations

Makes decisions and recommendations for the portfolio that are clearly linked to the organisation’s strategy and financial goals, reflecting an awareness of external dynamics


Requirements:

Open to Arabic nationals

Bachelor's or Master’s degree either in computer science, computer engineering, system analysis or a related field of study

Candidates with ITIL, PMP/Price or TOGAF certifications is an advantage

Minimum 10 years’ experience in the relevant technical roles preferably from financial institution industries

Extensive knowledge in business acumen, IT portfolio management and vendor management

Candidates should be aware of latest technology trends and risks

Should be able to drive new technology and project implementations in coordination with business and IT team

Excellent communication skills, knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage
