Education: BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
Experience: Minimum 6-7 years of UAE Experience in a similar profile.
Salary: 5500- 6500 AED.

Responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day Accounts Finance Operations.
Prepare full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of monthly/annual accounts.
Supervise the junior staff on other routine accounting work.
Monthly and Annual MIS Reporting.
Reconciliation of Quarterly VAT transactions and filing the VAT Returns.
Prepare quarterly/yearly financial statements for auditing and review purposes.
Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes.
Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Maintain the accounting database and ensure proper implementation of the applicable system for accounts administration.
Maintain and review the general ledger and reconciled balance sheets and ensure proper closing of periodic and annual accounts.

Requirements

Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookup’s and pivot tables.
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and quantitative skills.
Strong analytical and time-management skills.
Handling VAT Reporting on Quarterly basis.
Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, chief or senior accountant.
Hands-on experience with accounting software packages.
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
