Looking For A Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator is responsible for projects in midstream oil and gas by directing and overseeing activities related to evaluating capital and operating costs, overseeing, act as liaising person for all relative parties involved in midstream green field and brownfield projects, including pipeline and facilities construction. Duties for the Project Coordinator include evaluating and tracking project cost, budget, project progress, receiving all necessary regulatory and internal approvals, liaise with contractors, technical providers and other third parties. The Project Coordinator could be based in either a field or corporate location and will require frequent travel.



Primary Job Function:

· Evaluate, budget and monitor project costs both historical and upcoming, technical condition of the existing and new field facilities, equipment, processes and other related matters for midstream projects

Maintain regular communication and reporting with the project teams and business stakeholders
Generate reports, presentations and other documentation as requested
Perform other tasks as assigned
The Position will be based in Dubai; however the Project Coordinator will be required to travel frequently to the project sites.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred (e.g. engineering, construction management, finance, economics).

Experience:

- A minimum of 10 years of experience in midstream and upstream oil and gas required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing pipeline construction projects preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required.
- A minimum of 3 years of pipeline and/or facility related experience preferred.
- Project controls and/or cost accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with earned value management, cost sensitivity/risk analysis and financial modeling.

Competencies:

- Proven time management and follow-through skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
- Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Analyses problems and makes sounds decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, implications and cost.
- Utilises exceptional multi-tasking and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and emphasis on quality.
- Displays superior written and oral communication skills and employs effective listening skills.
- Displays tactful, mature and professional demeanour with well developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work with diverse personnel
- Fluency in Spanish is a big advantage
Job requires frequent travel
