We are urgently looking to hire an exceptional Senior Accountant for our group

Candidate Profile:
· Years of relevant experience: 7-8
· Candidate should have experience in the following industries: Construction/Real Estate/Contracting
· Educational Requirement (technical/universities to target): University degree, preference will be given to qualified candidates (ACCA, CMA, CA, CPA)
· Any specific technical skills required: Reconciliation of Accounts
· Language skills if required: Proficient in English
· Any other preference: Available to join quickly

Key Responsibilities: - List of major tasks that this role is responsible for

1. Identify all bank transactions and allocate them correctly against each client.
2. Update the transactions in the accounting software as well as the CRM system.
3. Perform Bank reconciliations as well as Cash reconciliations of all collections.
4. Co-ordinate with the collections team to ensure receipts are shared as required.
5. Post all GL entries as per the agreed polices and relevant accounting principles.
6. Reconcile the main GL accounts as part of the month end process (Banks, Cash, AP, AR).
7. Create, maintain and update the Chart of Accounts.
8. Set up proper financial dimensions to capture the costs appropriately.
9. Generate and review the financial statements with the Finance Manager and provide comments on variances.
10. Coordinate with the rest of the team to ensure that all documentation, tracking and filing is done appropriately.
11. Assist with both Internal audit and external audit.
