Job Position: Senior Laboratory Technician

Salary Range- 10,000-12,000 AED

Job Responsibilities:
Candidate to be considered for this role you must have at least 5 years of relevant experience as a laboratory technician with experience in sequencing. The core functions of this role are to assist in the daily operation of the Molecular Biology team. These functions include performing accurate DNA-based testing.

• Monitoring sample quality from reception through nucleic acid extraction to quality control and traceability
• Troubleshooting of technical problems in the sample preparation and sequencing workflows
• Understanding and execution of complex sequencing library preparation protocols using both manual and automated liquid handling systems
• Areas of importance includes but are not limited to WGS both de novo and re-sequencing, epigenomic, targeted, transcriptomes etc

Mandatory Skillset Requirements:

1. Next Generation Sequencing
2. DNA Extraction and DNA Sequencing
3. Knowledge and experience on Illumina
