Key accountabilities:
. Monitoring unit cost variance
. Implementing cost standards for materials, Labor, Machine and Overheads
. Preparing cost of goods sold and production reports.
. Analysing manufacturing operations, equipment availability and utilization
. Performing month-end cost accounting close
. Maintaining cost accounting system and cost ledger
. Analysing inventory valuations
. Preparing all inventory-related journal entries at month end
. Defining various product and operational costs
. Product Costing
. Assist with other accounting projects.
. Perform work safely to protect yourself and others from injury, by avoiding any behaviour that puts yourself or others at risk.
. Follow company’s food safety, environmental and occupational health and safety policy and practices.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
· Proven experience as Cost Accountant with minimum of 3-5 years of experience
· Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
· Data Entry Management
· Excellent organizing abilities
· Accuracy and attention to detail
· Deadline-Oriented
