Tiger Steel Engineering is seeking to hire a Quantity Surveyor based in Sharjah.

Job Details:
- Preparation of Payment Applications/ Invoice for multiple projects by following up and collecting information from the Operation, Site, QAQC & Dispatch team
- Quantity Take off from Strumis/ drawings.
- Preparing Measurement and updating cost code.
- Following up on Payment certificate from Client and issuing Tax invoice as applicable.
- Checking any shortfall and discussing/ arranging meetings and negotiating.
- Meeting with the client to discuss and agree on measurements.
- Preparation of Variations & Claims including following up and collecting information:
- MTO, Highlighted drawings, modification details & time sheets
- Writing of narrative & introduction
- Rate Build-up when necessary
- Following up & getting approval
- Negotiation & agreement on Contra Charges including internal verification.
- Preparing cost review
- Preparation of Final Account and finalization with the client.
- Maintain of logs (VO & Claim, receivable and Invoice, etc.).
- Preparing subcontractors’ and suppliers’ payment certificates.
- Billing schedule update.
- Preparing Required documents for Audits.
- Reviewing letters related to commercial matters and emails and responding/taking necessary action.


Minimum Requirements :

- B. Sc./ Diploma in QS.
- At least 2 years of experience in Structural steel, Oil & Gas & PEB.
- Knowledge of contract conditions, method of measurements, and project specifications (FIDIC, CESMM3, SMM7, POMI & NRM etc..)
