Procurement Engineer Required - Dubai
Hiring Procurement Engineer with experience in UAE on immediate basis (Construction company background is mandatory).
Any national with minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity can apply for this job.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Sets the procurement budget, sourcing and negotiates contracts for a range of commodities and business services.
· Prepares Request for Quotation (RFQ), communicates it to the potential suppliers.
· Reviews quotations submitted by suppliers, evaluates bids from at least three different suppliers and discusses his recommendations with the Administration Manager.
· Prepares pre-number Purchase Order (P.O) and discusses it with the Administration Manager.
· Receives approved P.O from the Head of Support, submits it to the supplier and keeps a copy to be archived by the Store Keeper.
· Prepares Supplier Evaluation Form and submits it to the Administration Manager for approval.
· Negotiates terms and conditions with the supplier and confirms agreement details.
· Interprets contract provisions and reviews contracts for accuracy and changes prior to bid and renewal.
· Establishes priorities, assigns workloads and reviews the more difficult and complex assignments.
· Handle other tasks and duties as and when assigned.
