SENIOR TECHNICAL ARCHITECT

Position Summary:

SIEC is looking for a Senior Technical Architect to join the team. This role will see you practicing architecture in a

multi-disciplinary environment with the opportunity to work across multiple sectors including Residential, Hospitality and Transport developments. Your role in the team will be to develop projects from Schematic design, working on the detail design and documenting stage and coordinates with other Consultants and Engineers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Aiding the Project Architect with all aspects of technical development

Responsible for the Technical development of projects from Schematic to completion

Responsible for all technical detailing of the project

Review of all drawing packages to ensure full coordination and technical excellence is achieved prior to issue

Assist the design architect with sourcing suitable materials and construction systems in line with the architectural design intent to ensure it technically works

Responsible for issuing all drawings, specifications, documentation etc. Ensuring correct procedures are in order and issue registers up to date and accurate

Ensure the operational standards are understood, adhered to and maintained by the team. The QMS drawing checklists are to be maintained and checked on a regular basis

Coordinate design team meetings with the relevant sub-consultants. Chair and minute the meetings with actions and pending dates

Ensure drawings and documentation carefully coordinated with sub-consultants prior to submissions

Qualifications & Technical Skills:

Degree in Architecture from a recognized international university

12-15 years of Architecture experience

Professional Registration preferred. Dubai and KSA codes and standards knowledge required

Experience in Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam, Auto CAD, and other drawing based design program

Knowledge of architectural building materials and methods, tectonics, design standards and codes

Good communication skills

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships

Demonstrate ability to organize and coordinate projects

Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce environment
