Manager – SWIFT Platforms
Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose:
• This managerial role is responsible for managing and supporting SWIFT Solution and Payments related initiatives and related technology platforms support. These platforms are but not limited to SWIFT platform, Payment and Name screening platforms like Firco, experience of Payments Systems like UAEFTS and AML monitoring platforms is preferable.
• Be updated with the latest regulations and directives given by SWIFT and other local regulatory authorities.
• Identify, recommend, and deliver improvements to the SWIFT solution and related sanction screening and payments processes. Be able to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

Key Accountabilities of the role:
• Relationship management – Build Trust and engage with Business on periodic basis and act as single point of contact (SPOC) for IT Requirement handling.
• Accountable to ensure that actions are assigned and completed as per agreed plan. Recommend new and innovative technology ideas to business that supports business growth and revenue.
• Master the SWIFT and sanctions system landscape.
• Optimize the SWIFT and sanctions system landscape.
• Work with businesses and solution providers to develop new the SWIFT and sanctions system related solutions for the Bank to match the capabilities at the center of excellence.

Technical Competencies Required for this role:
• Strategically Agile: Creates competitive and breakthrough strategies and plans, anticipates future consequences and trends accurately, has broad knowledge and perspective, and articulately paints credible pictures and visions of possibilities and likelihoods.
• Ability to Influence and motivate entire units by communicating a compelling, optimistic and inspired vision or sense of core purpose.
• In depth knowledge of all relevant banking and regulatory rules and policies related to payments operations including current industry processing models and future industry strategies.
• Experience in SWIFT and Payments systems product development or management.
• Sharp business acumen including ability to assess risk and appropriate levels of return, strong leadership capability, deliverance, objectivity, excellent interpersonal skills, multicultural awareness and sensitivity
• Domain knowledge of SWIFT and payments related processes, systems and solutions.
• Technical/Functional understanding of assigned application portfolio
• Effective Project Management & Business Analysis skills.
• Ability to resolve conflicts.

Required experience:
• 10 years’ experience with minimum 3 years of management experience in relevant area of banking and technology domain.
• Managed large team to deliver operational goals.
