Salary: AED 5000 to 7000

Accounting Officer Responsibilities:
Perform daily Accounts Receivables function including daily bookings of collections, reconciliation of customer accounts and preparation of Ageing Reports.
Liaise with Sales team on aged receivables on an ongoing basis and report to Management on the overdue position.
Review the credit application from customers and perform credit checks and obtain necessary documentations and approvals for creating customer/ updating the credit terms etc.
Performing reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
Finalisation and closing of monthly accounts Preparation of monthly and quarterly accounting reports with commentary.
Supervising and providing overall guidance to account assistance on a day to day accounting matters and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Accurately preparing tax returns and ensuring that company taxes are paid in a timely manner.
Assisting with annual audit preparations.
Assist Finance Controller & Finance Manager on any other ad-hoc tasks/ projects as and when required.

Requirements:
Proven experience working as an Accountant independently handling most accounting tasks on a regular basis.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
The ability to process large amounts of numerical data.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong management and leadership skills.
Effective communication skills.
Detail-oriented.
