KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Infrastructure and Helpdesk Officer will ensure that all below responsibilities are aligned with the Group IT policies, strategy and directives.

Essential Functions: Infrastructure Maintenance

1. Install, configure, maintain & monitor all end-user hardware (PC, printers, barcode, iPhones, Etc).
2. Install, configure, maintain & monitor all end-user software applications (Windows, MS Office, Outlook, Etc).
3. Monitor all network and server activities (daily, weekly, and monthly control reports)
4. Log and record all system changes and maintain these records
5. Participate in Infrastructure projects with the Infrastructure Project Leader

Essential Functions: Helpdesk

1. Perform as the first point of contact for all end user IT assistance requests.
2. Maintain Records for all requests, track until resolution and archive for future reference using company helpdesk tool
3. Resolve all first level IT assistance requests in following areas.
4. Basic support on in-house Business Applications system (AS400 platform)
5. Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Windows W10
6. Configuration and maintenance of multifunction Printer (HP, Xerox, Ect.)

Remote access tools

1. Sharepoint End user troubleshooting
2. Audio & Video Conferencing (MS Teams, Skype)
3. Laptop & Computer general usage
4. Network troubleshooting
5. Active Directory 2010 (Server and Client)
6. End user level Proxy management
7. Windows File server management (quota, rights, etc)
8. Backup maintenance
9. Switch maintenance
10. Mobile devices (iPhone, IPAD, Ect.)
11. Cisco IP Phones, Alcatel IP Phones
12. Escalate IT issues for resolution where appropriate and in accordance with the Helpdesk policy.
13. Communicate service outage / disruption notices to users that are affected by the outage.
14. Maintain service records for maintenance carried out.

Required experience:

1. 3 to 5 years recent experience in a Helpdesk and /or Systems administration role.
2. Industry certifications like MCSE, A+, ITIL and CCNP
3. Exposure to IT Infrastructure projects
4. Knowledge in PABX/Voice solutions (VOIP) will be an added advantage
