Job Description:
The Senior Infrastructure Specialist will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure. This position requires in-depth knowledge of infrastructure technologies, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to lead and mentor a team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex infrastructure projects and ensuring the stability and security of our systems.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and virtualization technologies.
Evaluate and recommend infrastructure solutions based on business needs, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of infrastructure components, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and optimize system efficiency.
Lead infrastructure projects from planning to execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Infrastructure Specialist or a similar role, with a focus on managing complex infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including servers, networks, storage systems, and virtualization.
Proficiency in infrastructure design and implementation, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions.
Solid understanding of network protocols, security principles, and disaster recovery strategies.
Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure, and familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
Relevant certifications, such as MCSE, CCNA, or VCP, are highly desirable.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
