Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant regulatory compliance experience in a banking or financial institution within the UAE.
Strong understanding of all regulatory and legal requirements, such as CBUAE Standards, Regulations regarding Licensing and Monitoring of Exchange Businesses, Consumer Protection Standards, Cabinet Decisions, CBUAE notices and guidelines, any other related regulatory directives issued by CBUAE UAE Ministry, or any other governing authorities, as well as internal policies and bylaws.
Must have excellent policy and procedure writing skills
CAMS is Mandatory
Strong business acumen and knowledge of risks and controls
Well-versed in corporate governance best practices
Should have effective communication strong relationships and drive compliance strategies
